The objective of the Soft Skills Training is to help undergraduates develop soft skills like communication skills, presentation skills, leadership skills, and other related abilities to better prepare them for the workplace
This scheme offers young and innovative graduates the opportunity to start small and medium–sized companies that will claim market share, create new businesses in the construction value chain, and provide the much–needed employment opportunities that Nigeria needs.
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program is designed for secondary school students in Nigeria, specifically those aged 13 to 18 years, or in JSS3 to SSS3 classes. The aim is to develop future leaders in the STEM industry across key regions in Nigeria by exposing students to careers in the construction industry, and inspiring them to contribute to a better Nigeria.
The youth mentoring programme is designed to empower youths in construction and other industries. It provides a platform for mentees to work during the holidays, together with more experienced people (mentors), on live training sites. The Mentors offer one–on–one mentoring sessions, site training and support on career guidance in construction, engineering, and work–life skills.
The KFSD Scholarship Scheme is an initiative designed to eliminate financial obstacles that hinder access to quality education for young Nigerians. It provides comprehensive financial support to academically outstanding and deserving youths who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in engineering. The scholarship program also offers mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities for professional development, ensuring that beneficiaries receive holistic support to thrive academically and professionally.
Our programs are designed to equip young minds with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive—ranging from STEM education and entrepreneurial training to soft skills development and scholarships.
